Helping people to get better at what they do (CPD)

In 2007/08 artsedSW trained over 1,630 teachers and teaching assistants in the arts. We have helped many others too from individual artists, arts organisations, libraries, museums, archives and local authorities. We do this by:

• Running bespoke training – whatever your need is; a specialist skills training day for staff for example, or a more informal chat about how you could improve your arts delivery in the curriculum
• Matching people up so that they can learn from others with more experience – mentoring or shadowing
• Producing guides and resources that show tried and tested ways of getting things done
• Finding out what national training is on offer, and how people can get involved
